These familiar brushes are used in decontam for general instrument surface cleaning and come with different bristles in order to provide the level of aggressiveness that you need to clean debris from jaws and serrations.

USES: General surface cleaning including laparoscopic instruments, needle holder jaws, vascular serrations, ratchets, rasps, bone files, reamers, burrs, blades, drill bits, and hardened stains in box locks.

NOTE: We realize you prefer Nylon bristles to prevent scratching delicate surgical instruments. However, when Nylon doesn’t get the job done, we recommend increasing the aggressiveness of the brush by switching to our new “Heavy Duty” Nylon, Bronze (also new and softer than Brass), Brass, and finally to Stainless Steel as a last resort.

We offer two different styles of Tooth Brushes that are commonly used for general instrument cleaning.

• The most popular “Tooth Brush” comes with 3 rows of stiff medical grade Nylon, Brass, or Stainless Steel bristles on one end of the handle.
• The “M-16” style brush (3 rows of bristles on one end and one row of bristles on the opposite end) has also become one of the most versatile brushes used in decontam. We offer several versions of this excellent utility brush to provide varying degrees of bristle aggressiveness to meet your needs.
